Dragon Fest is one of many Chinatown festivals that happen during the month of July where many vendors and entertainers of numerous Asian cultures are able to unite and sell their craft. Supporting this consumer celebration is one of Alpha Zeta’s many summer projects. Since many Greek houses take summer off, Lambda Phi Epsilon was the only UW Greek organization active at Dragon Fest this year. Our brothers and Little Sisters arrived early to help set up the market and were active in obtaining festival goer surveys during the duration of the festivities to ensure that everyone was getting the most out of their Dragon Fest experience. At the end of the day, the brothers and Little Sisters stayed back late to help take down the stands and clean up the streets of Chinatown which they adopted through the Seattle Rent-A-Street program.
